Overview
Petra is one of the greatest archaeological sites on Earth — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. On this private tour, our driver picks you up from Amman early in the morning so you reach Petra in time to beat the crowds and catch the famous morning light on the Treasury façade.
You'll walk through the Siq, a narrow 1.2 km rock canyon, before the iconic Treasury façade — carved entirely into the rose-colored rock — reveals itself. From there, you're free to explore the rest of the ancient city at your own pace: the Roman Theatre, the Royal Tombs, and, for the more adventurous, the climb up to the Monastery.
